Review: 'Don2: The Chase Continues'

‘Don2: The Chase Continues’ will erase the traumatic memory of ‘Ra.One’ from Shah Rukh Khan. Farhan Akhtar was the director of

the first part of ‘Don’. Farhan known for his stylish, sleek and uber cool films.

Everybody knows ‘Don’ film is a remake of one the biggest hit of Bollywood ‘Don’. Amitabh Bachchan was the Don of bollywood, but Farhan Akhtar gave a new Don to bollywood i.e. Shah Rukh Khan. While in the part of the film of ‘Don: the Chase Begin’ Shah Rukh Khan escapes from the police only to resurface in 

 Thailand in the new film. Due to some inexplicable things, Don surrenders himself in front of the police and old flame Roma (Priyanka Chopra). Don is sent to a jail in Malaysia where he meet his old enemy Vardhan(Boman Irani). They both planned to escape from the jail. Don and Vardhan broke the jail and escape, they land up in Berlin where Don met with some old and some new associates. And they make plan to rob a bank.

The plot of the film isn’t original. The concept of the film borrows from most classic Hollywood thrillers like Mission Impossible, Die Hard and Ocean’s Eleven.  The plot of the film is weak and lack of freshness. But the action sequence of the film make up for the loss.

The film have some amazing action stunts and chase sequence. In the film there is a chase sequence in which Priyanka Chopra is chasing the Shah Rukh Khan is the high point of the film. Shah Rukh Khan escapes the clutches of an assassin and jumps for a high rise building.

‘Don2: The Chase Begin’ belongs to Shah Rukh Khan. Priyanka Chopra, Om Puri, Kunal Kapoor and Boman Irani are the cast of the film. Shah Rukh Khan acted very well in this film, he gave a completely a new avatar of ‘Don’. He is evil, he is cocky and he has his smirk in place.
