MI: Ghost Protocol is in top postion at box office with $ 26.5 million

Tom Crusie’s fourth part of  “Mission Impossible” ‘Mission : Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ remained in

the top position at the box office during the Christmas weekend. ‘Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ earn 26.5 million dollars. The movie raised its total to 59 million dollars since it started a week earlier. Distributor of ‘Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ estimated that movie revenue will reach 72.7 million dollars by Monday.

 Warner Bros. ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ is in second place. This movie is based on adventure starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadow’s’ earn17.8 million dollars in its second weekend.

‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked’ is in third place with 13.3 million dollars and ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’  starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara is in the fourth place with 13 million dollars and director Steven Spielberg ‘the Adventures of Tintin’ is in fifth place with 9.1 million dollars.

‘Mission Impossible : Ghost Protocol’ earn 118 million dollars overseas on last Friday.
