Aamir Khan turned down offer of "The Milkman of India"


 Aamir Khan turned down the offer of filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia. Tigmanshu Dhulia and Ekta Kapoor is collaborating for a biopic on Verghese  Kurien, who is founder of Amul brand and who made India the largest milk producer in the world.

 Dhulia and Ekta offer role of Kurien in their upcoming film “The Milkman Of India”  to Aamir Khan, but he refused to to do this.
Tigmanshu Dhulia was the director of Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster, which got good review and good appreciation.
Sources said,”Aamir Khan is doing television show, Satyameva Jayate and films like Talaash and Dhoom 3. And not to forget, biopics aren't working for him yet, as the one on Guru Dutt. So he declined the idea”.
Tigmanshu Dhulia said,” It’s not my next film, but it will be made. I am doing research on Verghese Kurien and working on the script”.
Verghese Kurien was a US-trained metallurgical engineer and who pioneered Operation Flood and made the largest dairy development program in the world.
