The sexy singer who has many music awards to her credit has drawn controversy for her "Photoshoot" she did for the French Magazine "L'Officiel Paris" for the March issue.Beyonce appears in the photos with her "face darkened" to resemble Africans.
The magazine aim was to pay homage to the African queens through the ages, in particular Nigerian musician/activist Fela Kuti, who has influenced Beyonce's upcoming album.
The magazine defended itself by saying that the shoot was meant to symbolize a return of Beyoncé to "her African roots.
This has not gone down too well with many Africans who believe the Magazine is behaving like "Racist" and thus have given a outraged feedback.
