If reports are to be believed the new CBFC head could be the talented actress and social activist"Shabana Azmi"as the Current head "Sharmila Tagore"term is getting over.There were also rumours that lyricist"Gulzar"could be the one,but considering the sensibilitites and experiences of "Shabana Azmi" who has been a great ambassador for the Indian film industry,her chances are very bright.
Being a woman is also one of the advantages she has over "Gulzar" as women are considered more sensitive and that helps in handling complex issues that Censor Board deals with.Living in a family where they eat,live,speak,sleep Indian Cinema,her name doesn't surprise us.
