Rahman to again perform "Jai Ho"at Oscars 2011

The song "Jai Ho"from Slumdog Millionaire has been played so many times at many events over and over again but still retains its magic so much so that the Oscar this year too wants the music composer and two Oscar winner A.R.Rahman to perform this song.Hollywood offers have poured in after his success at the Oscars last year and the Oscar committee wants to use his immense popularity all over the world to make Oscars a successful event this year too.

Interestingly,Rahman has got two nominations this year,one for his song"If I Die"from the movie "127 hours" in the "Original Song" category and the other for "Original Score" category for the same movie directed by "Danny Boyle who also directed "Slumdog Millionaire".We do hope he mesmerizes the audience and repeats the success he had last year and yes we want the Oscars too.JAI HO!!!!
