The Pakistani singer "Rahat Fateh Ali Khan" who was arrested and later let-off by DRI at the Delhi airport on 14 Feb for carrying undisclosed"Foreign Currency" was today fined Rs.15 Lakh and his manager Maroof Ali was fined Rs. 20 Lakhs.
The singer and his manager were charged under the "FEMA" and "Customs" act and will have to pay the fine immediately.They have now got their passports back and will leave for Lahore soon.
Mr.Khan is the nephew of legendary singer"Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan" and is a top singer in both Bollywood and Pakistan movie industry.
