Delhi's prestigious Jawaharlal Lal Nehru University(JNU) has been marred by the reports that its students are involved in circulating a CD with vulgar mms clip showing a boy and a girl in compromising position.The boy and the girl in the clip are undergraduates in the School of Language Studies while the boy who shot the video is an MCA student as all of them resided in the Tapti hostel on th JNU campus.
The reports suggest that the sex clip was made with the intention of extorting money from the girl but when that didn't pay off , it was made public through mms into mobile phones and Internet.The CD had been circulating for about six months in the university before it came to the notice of the Chief Proctor "H.C. Bohidar"who is now probing the whole matter.
While,the probing reports will be out in a week,the victim has already left the university and is said was unaware of the fact that she was being filmed.The police however says that the university authorities have not informed them but they are of the view that there could be more people involved indicating towards a pornographic racket in the city.
