7 Khoon Maaf Movie Review

Director : Vishal Bhardwaj
Cast        : Priyanka Chopra, Vivaan Shah, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan Khan, Anu Kapoor, Usha Uthup, Aleksandr Dyachenko

Vishal Bhardwaj is known to bring out the nitigrities of every frame he shoots."7 Khoon Maaf" could be a movie thats based on the story of Ruskin Bond's book "Susanna and her seven Husbands,"but he has given it his own style.

We all know it's about killing 7 husbands by a woman but Priyanka has enacted every character so beautifully that even after knowing the story, one defers to take one's eyes off for even a second.

The first of her husbands is played by "Neil Nitin Mukesh"(Major Edwin Rodrigues ) followed by "John Abraham" who plays a rockstar. Then comes "Irfan Khan"(Musafir Khan) who is a poet in the film.Fourth is a Russian agent "Nicolai Bronsky",Fifth is "Anu Kapoor"(Kimatlal) who is an inspector,Sixth is "Naseeruddin Shah",a bankrupt naturist(Dr. Madhosudhan Tarafdar ).

Well, there is another boy Vivaan Shah(Arun Kumar). He is a treat to watch as he looks a lot inspired by his father Naseeruddin Shah.He plays the servant in Susanna's father's house who she tries to seduce when he grows up.

The movie fails where the transformations are to be depicted in terms of age and characters but still every part played by the actors is so effective that one does miss them after they are killed.Priyanka Chopra is so immensely talented and Vishal has used her potential to the fullest. This is by far the best performance of hers.

The music is dark, haunting and justifies the mood of the film."Darling" definitely stands out from the rest.A must watch movie for all those who have been waiting to see something different.Go Get Thrilled!!!
