YPD is a confusing movie. first half is very boring but second half is better and entertaining. In YPD, Dharamendra is back in a similar space. The role of a conman, who’s low on morals and doesn’t think twice before abandoning his family.
Bobby, on the other hand, tried to be a young Veeru of Sholy but fails. As the loud, cheery Bobby did very bad with his character Gajodhar. His best scenes is where he plays second fiddle to his father and brother Sunny Deol..
Sunny Deol plays Paramjit, an NRI living in Canada, who travels to Benaras looking for his father who abandoned Param and his mother years ago and ran away with his younger brother, Gajodhar. When he meets them, he realises that Gajodhar isn’t aware of any family other than Dharam.
Final Verdict:- Watch this movie for Good performance of Sunny Deol and some truly hilarious moment in the second half. Overall Yamla Pagla Deewana is a average film.
